A BIG Yankeemets thankyou to our friends

Rhonda Gelstein & Demaree Hoover.

Rhonda, a Yankeemets member is also the Newsletter Editor

for the Mitten chapter in Michigan.

Demaree is the President of the Mitten Mets.   www.mitten-mets.com

We recently held our Club's annual general membershp meeting

with a record 33 members in attendance.

The meeting was held on February 22nd and a snowstorm

was predicted for later in the afternoon.

What a hardy bunch!

The meeting was held at the Horseshoe Pub in Hudson,MA.

I should add, the Pub is known for its extensive selection of draft beers on tap.

In fact, there are 80 beers, each with its own unique tap handle.

Kudos to the Connecticut contingent as they sampled at least 40 of these beers

and still were coherent enough to continue on with our meeting.

Rhonda was gracious enough to generously donate some of her fantastic Met items

for our use as gifts to be given to the "award winners" of our Show 'N Tell for big kids.

Check out Rhonda's websites:  www.vroomersonline.com  and  www.luvmymet.com

Demaree supplied our club with some really unique clay handcrafts, in the Met motif, of course.

How incredibly clever!   See them at  www.c-w-d.com

These would make terrific gifts all year long. Let's support Rhonda and Demaree.
